cars taken from private car park
We have had some disturbing news from residence of flats TRINITY COURT heron drive off bacon drive taunton, a car clamping company CPS enforcement from bridgwater now working for knightstones in taunton has been over zealous and have clamped and taken away residence cars whilst they where away on holiday and they were unable to change the parking permits in their cars. The old permits where quite visible in the car it would have only taken a phone call to stop it, they had to pay £400 cash to recover their car.lord porthleven comments, this is appalling news we have heard of this before and i feel that legislation should be in place to stop this, and to change £400 is day light robbery all clappers must be registered and an independent appeals committee put in place.************UPDATE 29th Oct. 08. taunton MP Jeremy Brown has spoken in parliament about clamping firms and the way they work employing staff that apear to intimidate people into paying up their fines, also they must be regulated and the charges must be reasonable not extortionate and customers must be able to appeal to an independent committee lord porthleven comments, Jeremy Brown is doing a great job and everyone in the taunton area should back him 100%. we must stop the way clamping company can cause so much misery.*** UPDATE 26th nov 08.--HTV are researching of a programme on clamping and campers and this will be televised shortly.

I still think that spot checks should be made someone like a secret shopper. ************** UPDATE 6TH NOV 08. 84 year old lady was moved from Musgrove hospital after recovering from MSR and a broken leg that occurred whilst in the hospital to a nursing home in Taunton.
